The scenes of famine in Gaza are simply barbaric.
As MPs of Israeli and Palestinian descent, we hope though that recognition of the State of Palestine will serve to flame the embers of hope for peace.

Oppilaita ei pitäisi erotella suomi äidinkielenä ja suomi toisena kielenä -oppimääriin. Sen, onko suomi oppilaalle vanhemmilta vai ympäristöstä saatu kieli, ei pitäisi määrittää opetusta ja tavoitteita. Jonkinlaista eriyttämistä toki tarvitaan esim. kielitaitotason perusteella mutta ei kielitaustan.
