I'm about 2/3 of the way through the book. It's a fantastic reading experience. It's also inspiring me to take my Gong, Magma, Red Noise, etc albums off the shelf once more, not that I needed an excuse.
Great interview on The Music Book Podcast with Ian Thompson, author of a new book "Synths, Sax, & Situationists: The French Musical Underground 1968-1978," which is out now. It's superb, and I'm reviewing it for the next issue of MOOF magazine.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through the book. It's a fantastic reading experience. It's also inspiring me to take my Gong, Magma, Red Noise, etc albums off the shelf once more, not that I needed an excuse.
One of the most unpleasant & frankly stalker-like aspects of Bluesky is an obsession with documenting who other people are following. What's it to you, & why do you care?
