when the populace are poorer, they're easily controlled. our politicians and most religious leaders both agreed on this, so it's easy to sell the idea of hope,prosperity, miracle and prayer... while behind the scene, they both extort the people, through religion and government.

I always have this impression about rich people appearing nice publicly but privately they're mostly horrible, play God, don't really want anyone to rise up to them, hijack ideas, involve in shady business...but publicity, donate to churches, mosques, orphanage, do giveaway..
