You now have Trump apologists like Megan Kelley claiming: oh, there's a difference between a five and a 15 year-old girl when it comes to sexual predators.
Ffs. There's false equivalence, alternative facts - and then there's plain through the looking glass and straight down the rabbit hole.

Just been reading up on Clay Higgins, the nonentity GOP Representative from Louisiana and sole House member to vote against releasing Epstein files. Jesus Christ. Sadly, outside the universities and New Orleans, whites in that state vote almost homogeneously for Republicans, just like this.

I just hope that no vacancy in SCOTUS arises over the next one to three years. Because if it does, you can bet your last dollar or whatever currency you use that Trump (or Vance) will get sycophants Cannon or Bove onto it. Both relatively young, they could do the GOP’s evil work for a half century.

That's right, Mahmood, try to out-Reform Farage. Also, tell us how much you admired Thatcher...
The last sentence of Animal Farm comes to mind, not for the first time.

Predictable: arrogant, spoilt, petty, power-mad, vicious, and vindictive. The BBC (and Starmer) should do no more. The case will fail in Florida.

Epstein: sadly, I'm pretty sure that there is no 'smoking gun' in this. And even if there was, enough thick as s**t US voters, with the moral compass of a stoat, decided it doesn't matter. After all, he got back in, after calling for insurrection, AND being a convicted felon. Zero consequences.

One reason I loathe Leavitt is that she reminds me of Liz Truss. A vicious, arrogant, obnoxious blonde airhead. Utterly devoid of any power of self-reflection, yet alone humility or remorse.

US government reopening: there’s no getting away with it - this is a defeat for and poor performance by the Democrats, especially in the Senate. Robert Reich is right: they lack the authoritarian hierarchy and discipline (not to say hypocrisy and ruthlessness) that comes naturally to GOP.

She grows more obnoxious with each appearance. A faux ‘Christian’ hypocrite (if there were a recognisable ‘God’ and a ‘Hell’ she’d be in for it) and a Barbie-doll glove puppet of the worst kind.

Fetterman needs to be ousted from the Democrat caucus. He’s this session’s Manchin, and about as useful to progressive causes.

BBC farce: Robbie Gibb should be removed from the board. Johnson put him on. Starmer/Nandy-pamby must find a way to get him off. As for Trump, the BBC, and this excuse for a Labour/social democrat government, must hold firm, or broadcasting democracy in this country is finished.

Trump, Vance, Johnson, Rubio, Hegseth, Noem, Leavitt and co. are, cumulatively, the finest argument for antinatalism ever assembled.
