I've been a bit quiet on here lately. I've been taking a break from writing to make art. I was an artist before I was a writer, but after I got the writing bug, my art took a back seat. I've realised I need both so I'm taking a fantastic art course run by Louise Fletcher. It's good to be back!

I like playing with paint and collage. Here's a recent still life. As a child, I used to drive my mum crazy with all the little scraps of cut up paper on my bedroom floor.

I'm a volunteer driver for a hedgehog charity. Somehow I've ended up with this little guy while I try to find someone to help him. Wish us both luck!

Reader, I defrosted the car and drove to my favourite lane. This was my reward.

Iced up car. Defrost or walk the dog from the house for once? He's only small, but he pulls. I know, I know should do something about it!

Timelines and me...aargh! Good job there are editors and proof readers to point out the glaring mistakes, especially if it involves doing maths. I'd really like to write a time slip novel but I really mustn't. Got that, Kitty? Oh, but... No buts. Really. No matter how good the idea is. I mean it.
