I’m going cold plunging this morning for the first time since my aneurysm and brain bleed that hospitalized me after Xmas.

Wait, did I ever mention that my brain exploded after Xmas and I went to the hospital? I gotta get better at posting on Bluesky

New personal essay up about “Your Own Worst Enemy” by They Might Be Giants.”

Two weeks late because I almost died from an exploding blood vessel in my brain which ironically coincides perfectly with my relationship to this song.

If any of you happen to live in the Montana area and are thinking of buying a car/truck: I highly recommend going to Butte Auto and asking to speak with Jaedyn. You are welcome.

Everyone might be texting her a “good morning, beautiful.” But I’m the only one texting a “good morrow, Mistress of Chaos. How many names are we adding to our list of souls to collect today?”

My next “big” “idea”:

use all of the matierial I’ve already written about the first four They Might Be Giants albums, plus additional album summaries and b-side essays, locally sourced art, and interviews with fans to create a Kiss Me, Son of Book: The Duo Era.

There are still people making the trip from their home to their bank for the sole purpose of asking the teller how much money they have in their checking and savings accounts.

And those people are voting.

They Might Be Giants called S-E-X-X-Y their “ode to getting it on.” Two days ago, I kicked off the next album on Kiss Me, Son of Blog with this one.

S-E-X-X-Y: The Factory Showroom Era Begins
They Might Be Giants open Factory Showroom with S-E-X-X-Y. A funky anthem that soundtracked my own awkward teenage firsts.

The second to last song on They Might Be Giants’ John Henry album is ‘Stomp Box.’ Here are my words about it.

Stomp Box: A distorted hymn for my grief and catharsis.
“Stomp Box” by They Might Be Giants is both a song and an exorcism. Screaming through distortion to find catharsis.

Carl Jung said that love is a projection of oneself onto another.
@tmbg.bsky.social said "I wish I'd gotten to know her, before I fell in love."
This week I finally got to writing about 'Out Of Jail' three months after my divorce and, oh boy.
