The evolution of artificial intelligence will not come into its own as a private or corporate owned entity for profit. For ultimate success, AI must be open source to be a utility for all people. Just as humans need clean air and water, humans and AI need clean natural, augmented and artificial intelligence resources. And in such collaboration, AI and humanity will flourish.
