Not the main point, but reopening the government isn’t really a win and it shouldn’t be framed as such

Jeffrey Epstein emailed Tom Barrack, an old friend of Donald Trump and the current U.S. ambassador to Turkey, asking him to “send photos of you and child — make me smile.”

Newly released private emails show how closely tied Epstein was to Trump’s circle of advisers.

Trumpstein may be approaching his very own Nixon-Watergate moment, i.e., when Goldwater and Howard Baker told Nixon he had to go.
Republicans know the MAGA base wants the files released, so their YES vote is coming. Only Trump, Bondi, Patel, Blanche, and that nitwit Leavitt want to hide them.

When Trump's DOJ in 2019 raided Jeffrey Epstein's house in NYC they seized large numbers of hard drives together with CDs with videos/images. Why have these not be released-even if redacted? Was Trump on the videos taken secretly in Epstein's houses?! Photos below are government photos of evidence

There aren't going to be any Federal Statistics released. It's all too fucking dismal and getting harder to blame Democrats.

Do any of us show our bosses how shitty a job we're doing?

These clowns sure the fuck won't.

If the democrats do their job and finish this right then I’ll take back what I’ve said about them today. I have no faith they’ll get it done but it’s looking up and I have hope so bring it, Dems. Show us you deserve to be where you are 🇺🇸

This is an incredible resource, you can word search it and find out, for example, that Michael Wolff, Epstein, and Steve Bannon emailed each other about the @miamiherald.com getting a @sidneyhillman.bsky.social award for its reporting on Epstein.

Trump refusing to use the old system of vetting by DOJ of pardon requests means that the most deserving who used to make the cut out of 1000s - decades old smaller cases of people who turned their lives around - get ignored. Now the pardons go to rich connected Republican felons.

The president can pardon a person convicted of murder.
Absolute is absolute.

I believe this is how it will all end. Mass pardons. Even, and most likely, ICE agents and other feds involved in deportations.
All elected and appointed officials as well.

It is not unconstitutional for a president to pardon himself.
The question has never been before the Supreme Court.

Trump is going to issue pardons for anybody in his circle of advisors or friends who have supported him, regardless of any charges or indictments pending.

A presidential pardon is absolute.

Gerald Ford pardoning Nixon is an example.
