I remember hearing something about Trump growing up, and his father teaching him never, ever admit you were at fault. It showed weakness, and opens you up to lawsuits. It seems that the Republican party has adopted that same attitude toward governance and accountability.

As a lifelong resident of Minneapolis, it pains me that with the progress law enforcement is making in trying to right its wrongs, as slow as it is, but still progress, that the ICE murder will most likely reinforce the idea that our "protectors" would just as easily kill us as help us.
