So trump has the record for the 2 longest shutdowns in history. Only president impeached twice. Trump had the largest addition to our national debt in his first term. He’s the only convicted felon to be POTUS. He had one of the worst job growth numbers in his first term. He’s so bad at so much.

The leverage the republicans always have in a government shutdown is that they do not care if people can pay their bills or feed their kids. It is difficult to negotiate with a party that truly does not give a shit about its citizens. They know dems care more and will eventually cave.

It is insulting to hear Trump tell me things aren’t expensive. That inflation is down. I go to the store every fucking day. Fuck him. A guy that has never pumped his own gas or bought his own groceries, telling me everything is down. Fuck. Him.

Now that we’ve seen how our government will sit back and allow a president to do terrible things to its own citizens, just wait until a Dem president is allowed to do wonderful things for its citizens. I hope they take advantage of the precedent that’s been set, and pass helpful legislation.

It’s comical to hear republicans try to blame the government shutdown on Dems, when the two longest government shutdowns in history are under Trump and the republicans. This is what they do.

Please understand, when any news organization makes a comment that there have been some decreases in chicken and beef, understand what that means. It’s very deceptive. A decrease from historic, unprecedented highs in markets. So, it has slightly come down from the highest we’ve ever seen it.

I have no elections in my state. I am watching the races tonight from afar. I am however, very hopeful. Tonight has to be a blue sweep. The message must be sent. Trump and all republicans must know after tonight, America hates what they’ve done to our country. Change is coming. Love over hate.

I get pissed off every time I think about idiots in this country voting against Biden because they said things were too high. Trump left Biden a pandemic and a struggling economy. Trump lit the fire and they decided to fire the fireman and put the pyromaniac back in the WH. Well, enjoy your fire.
