I'm more complex than my profile suggests, and I would think that you are too.

Some people might be curious.
I taught a bunch of people how to make kimchi for a Kim jang session. It's something every South Korean would recognize as kimchi, but be entirely angry at. We ended up mashing different regions of kimchi together.

Why are twilight hours good at creativity? I only found this study that proved it true. But doesn't answer why. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34878849/ Nerdish topics that keep me up at night.
Sleep onset is a creative sweet spot - PubMed
The ability to think creatively is paramount to facing new challenges, but how creativity arises remains mysterious. Here, we show that the brain activity common to the twilight zone between sleep and wakefulness (nonrapid eye movement sleep stage 1 or N1) ignites creative sparks. Participants (<i>N</i> …

Some milk spoiled, spilled onto my jacket, couldn't get it out, and I had to use old timey soap to get rid of the smell. Fels Naptha. Ah, I need to still need to make a coat to replace it though. I almost have the materials.

Watched #BridgertonS4 Part 1, I thought that the beginning of Episode 2, the first scene with Sophie wasn't really needed. I didn't need that information, we already knew all of that. Her wingman I still think has a stronger connection than Benedict. First 4 episodes still feels mostly limerence.

If I understand correctly, I believe #Koreans are the only East Asians so passionate about garlic🍽️ that they will put three different kinds of garlic into the same dish. lol kimchi jjigae? Start with minced fresh garlic. Why? Kimchi garlic is different from fresh garlic. Garlic on garlic on garlic.

I told #SIMS4 how they broke the game by not getting the file path right for Mac and they haven't fixed it. They pointed to the wrong library file path. The EA person on the board replying doesn't seem to understand the error message, though.

I'm about to take a painting class and the last time I painted was the whole Sriracha+Ketchup art piece. I'd like to learn better color blocking and my shading sucks. I'm still half stuck on anime shaders. --;; I'm good at gesture, too anal about detail, and have advanced color theory.

I drew this and then totally changed everything about it as I worked on it.

Despite being #AceSpec and #AroSpec, I'm and 100% in favor of sex positivity, open communication and positive romantic relationships, especially for allo people. Also to drop a lot of the gender shenanigans, but that's my NB self talking. You define your relationships on your terms with consent.

Het people viewing Heated Rivalry: The trend is gay sports. I did a stint of research into gay relationships, which I was hated for because het people said, "They are exactly the same as het"! But they aren't. And Heated Rivalry captured that for gay men. It's emotional honesty. #WritingCommunity

Begging my relatives to help primary Schumer. Can anyone help to persuade them with articles, etc?

In your #worldbuilding, by default, if you change the gender categories, then you have to rework the sexual orientation categories as well. Or you could just put it as liquid and not an identity as it was in the 18th century. Some queer people got mad at me for saying this...

Finished Idol I. Started out better than it ended. TT The ending became predictable, but I kinda think the problem was, again, the time crunch issue and not enough time to plan ahead of time. If it was 16 episodes, the doer probably would have been the manager and that been far more interesting.

Watching online video about the history of the SS. They had more requirements for recruitment than the current iteration and didn't wear masks. That's saying something.

Was reading and kinda editing a book I wrote and I realized two things: I probably had covid brain fog which I semi-fixed by writing British-style lit to try to recall a different vocabulary set. And the other is: The narrating character is sooo ND. How did I miss that?

Idol, I #Kdrama somewhat lags after the Jae Hee drive off a cliff plotline. The writer couldn't figure out how to sustain the current plotline by finding new themes to look at, so inserted something else. I wasn't fond of the chaebeol plotline either, and both these lead to somewhat dead ends.

Sue DHS to find out and then they will be compelled to give the information in discovery. Then sue the individuals.
This can’t be repeated enough. Not only won’t they investigate, they may never even tell us who did this.

Think about the message that sends to the next ones. Nobody is safe.

I paused Idol I to look up the tree and it's a kind of maple tree. Acer griseum. So far the show (up through episode 7) is subtly playing with gender and perception v. reality in way I like with a delicate touch I appreciate. #Kdrama

I'm about to write my police criticizing chapter with things my local police and general enforcement absolutely did because I'm ticked off and I need somewhere for it to go after I wrote a letter rebuking my local newspaper. I developed writing skills for fiction, but social justice, fine. Let's go.

I apparently have a very unpopular opinion that we should sue the individual ICE agents into the ground. If you can do it with Abortion clinics, open it to ICE agents in your states. If they attempt to strike it down, then they have to justify why it applies only for abortion laws and not ICE agents
January 25, 2026 at 2:35 PM
Youtube occasionally misses ICE and subs it as "ISIS" and I'm like, welp, not that much different.

Fixed 3 UX problems today and didn't get paid for it. One house finding website and one therapy website. My habits to want to fix UX problems and never get paid for it... *sighs*

For Privileged people, Social Justice isn't so you can declare yourself a "good person", it's so you can learn to make yourself a safe person to be around for people unlike you while you fight with them to get them their rights.
