In 1993 Octavia Butler wrote a novel in which she describes a future America ravaged by climate change, wildfires in L.A. and an extreme right-wing president whose slogan is "Make America Great Again." She was a modern-day prophet. Perhaps we should have listened to her instead of banning her book.
