Artist, Engineer, Human.

Encouraging people to not get lost in the neon labrynth. To build their skills and find out what amazing things they can do for themselves and those they care about.

When everything is darkness you gotta be the light.

Dichroic glass has two colors to it, these pictures kind of show off how the same piece can look blue or yellow depending on the lighting.

fun design too, I should try that again. Made with “glassline” black.

Some crafty office coworkers have made a good case to include goth gnomes in the spooky season.

Here are pictures of my glass Pueo owl mosaic before and after lightly being (tack) fused together.

This makes all the tiny glass shards into one solid piece and keeps the detail better than full fusing.

Finishing up a small owl, glass mosaic. I will tack fuse it together (the only grout is clear glass frit).

It has plenty of personality and will look great as a suncatcher. Used the native pueo markings, they have cool dark lines around the eyes.

Took a casting class where you carve bullseye vermiculite board to make a mold for glass. Behold my mighty green glass doughnut.

A important thing with casting colored glass is a little bit of color goes a long way

Nice picture of a Rainbow Shower tree in bloom. These are popular street trees in Hawaii and can indeed create showers of petals that are very cool.

For all you Monstera houseplant fans, this is what it looks like in the forest and why it’s got that name. Please don’t plant outside.

Just did a kiln firing, my most recent work. Plenty of personality so I’m happy with the result.

Fused glass mosaics are really cool, I hope more people try it.

Does require a glass kiln.

More people need to know about the Pazyryk Swan, 2400 years old, from the Siberian horse-riding pastoral people. It is felted, c30cm. Because of the permafrost burials so much amazing felt, appliqué, embroidery and textile art has survived. But I just love that a stuffie has survived ❤️

They recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of art deco. I wanted to encourage all glass artists to do a google search for a great French master artist named Rene Lalique. He made amazing art and developed techniques still in use today.

Random pic of mine for some color.

I took a class teaching a technique where copper wire is used as an inclusion.

It’s always great to learn new techniques. There is room for innovation in glass and I love trying new things with the material to see what happens.

Testing out a new phone camera. This is a tiny landscape made with glassline pens and scraps of glass. As an artist I love taking small pieces of glass and seeing what I can do to make them look cool.

I finished the double tiki mosaic I was working on and, just got it tack fused and out of the kiln.

It has lots of personality.
