February 2026 can't come fast enough. Definitely curious to catch this film in theatres.

Ignore the reviews. Take a chance and go see #TheRunningMan for yourself. Honestly, one of my favourite movies of 2025. And I'm picky about this genre of film (so, that's a big seal of approval from me).

I saw this little bowl that I swore I filled with Hershey kisses the other day sitting empty on the table. Did I accidentally throw them out with the old ones? I can't really tell, but maybe it's a sign I was never supposed to have the chocolates 🤷‍♀️

I just got out of the theatre after seeing #TheRunningMan. Goodness. It was worth the hype and then some. The acting was superb. The music, cinematography, directing, storytelling, just what we needed. In anyone else's hands (in front and behind the screen), I don't think it has the same gravitas.

Waking up in a winter wonderland on November 10th is a mood. And one that feels refreshing, new, and comforting. Maybe I'm just seeing life and the coziness of a sunny, snow-covered day in a whole different way. Fresh fallen snow, fresh start? I'll be ruminating on that one today ❄️

First snowfall of the season, and it's a beautiful sight. It's a little weird to see the remaining coloured leaves on the trees mixed with the white, falling snow. But I think it's such a perfect metaphor for the in-between period between fall and winter and between different chapters in our lives.

Let me say, I'm feeling the holiday spirit early. Between the #Hallmark movies, the #Christmas music, and now the holiday drinks at #Starbucks, I'm starting to feel the joy sneak up on me. And as someone feeling burnt out by a lot right now, I'll take this early hint of whimsy and merriment 🥰

Ruminating on a Monday, as one does, and I keep coming back to a conversation my sister and I had about conformity and being yourself. And I just want to know why I, as a quiet introvert, need to change to fit a loud extroverted world? Why can't I be who I authentically am? Isn't that powerful, too?

The far right radicalization of young men is a serious issue. Fanning male rage was a big part of the MAGA movement and is part of the game plan on the Polievre Conservatives.
In my latest piece I discuss the toxic impacts on schools and democracy.

I love the comparison to "North by Northwest" by Joseph Kahn (via X). That film was an absolute smash hit for Hitchcock in 1959 (one which has continued to hold sway for the last 66 years of cinema).

I have high hopes for "The Running Man." This is going to be one for the ages #RunningManMovie

The next few weeks will be ones to watch closely in federal politics. What will be in the budget? Will it be voted through or voted down? Is an election in our future? I never count it out. #cdnpoli

Also, a great analysis of the dynamics set to unfold over the next few weeks. Take a few minutes ⤵️
We’re headed to an election. Stop pretending we’re not.

When we talk about the slow erosion of democracy, this is what we're talking about. If you can't win by honest means, this is what you do. And with a majority, this will likely get passed. Elections have consequences. And here in Ontario, we're seeing this play out in real-time #onpoli

Not gonna lie, as someone who is deeply entrenched in all things politics (I mean, I must be a glutton for punishment, as I did two degrees in political science and one in political management 😂), this take is refreshing and I need this man in my life (if only to offer the balance I need, lol).

Just when I think I have things all figured out, life decides to throw another curveball my way. And expose some things I never expected to see. But then, maybe that's the point. To see the reality of things. And change course.

I don't know about you, but there's something so cozy about a rainy, autumn evening. It inspires magic but also inspires the best kind of self-care: curling up with a warm cup of tea and a book with the rain and wind outside your window. Honestly, my favourite way to pass the time #autumn #booksky

There was this effortless cool about Robert Redford. The kind that we don't see too often anymore today. A man of timeless grace and gentlemanly acumen. A great actor and a greater intellectual. My god, there will never be another like him. And we are all better for the legacy he's left us with.
