ONE thing I keep reminding myself:
To set ambitions around the development of my character and ability, rather than status and power.
The former is much harder to set measurable goals for, so most people end up setting goals for the latter.

What always strikes me about AI is how it sounds 100% confident but then take a huge U-turn when you correct them and tell them why they're wrong.
I know it's all word prediction and tokens, but they should sound less confident when what they're saying might be debatable or plain wrong.

1. The moment when you become aware of hedonic adaptation and the hedonic treadmill.
2. Even after becoming aware of it, not falling it to the trap of succumbing to it every few years.
I don't know of anyone who has mastered both
