People already working hard to prove how perfect Alex Pretti was. To show he didn't "deserve" to be killed. But it's a trap folks. You're only feeding into a dynamic where people who are considered lesser get no protection. You don't have to be an Alex Pretti to deserve to live.

Now the hybrid replacement is here and it is hard as a rock with the latex topper and uncomfortable. 😩 I took the topper off last night but still...I may have to go back to the first one. My poor back.
I've been struggling to find a comfortable and supportive mattress for my back issues since last May. Bought a Saatva Soft Plush and big mistake. Too soft! Esp in hip area. Decided to return it after about 6 months for a hybrid. While waiting for the new one got a Saatva latex pad + it got better..☝🏽

Hey garden friends! I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the books I reference often for fermenting in a restaurant window on my recent trip to Mexico City. That definitely made me even more excited to trip the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Highly recommend this book too!

Happy MLK Day garden friends. Spring is on its way! I stepped outside into the garden this morning and saw my first true rose blooms of the season. 😍
My garden is a a hot mess in general but these beauties made me forget all about that. I can't wait for the growing season to begin. 🌱

Ok #Sinners was on when I turned on my tv today and of course I stopped to watch it again. but I noticed something new in the last scene. Smoke uses weapons from the trunk from all his endeavors. The grenade + what looks like a Browning from his military. Then the Tommy machine gun from the mafia.🤯

On a positive note I'm still working my way through Pres Obama's best movies of 2025 list. The Secret Agent is one I'm still chasing down. Hopefully theatres will show it again since it's wining a few awards. It's the one I can't find.

Late night cooking and cracked open a double yolked egg in my cornbread mix! This was my first egg of the year while making my New Year's "good luck" meal of collards, black eyed peas, and cornbread.
So yes I'll take ALL the good omens on this one. 😆🙏🏾

Happy New Year garden friends! I've been bottling up my last few jars of vinegar and fermented peppers over the holiday break. I ended up with about 4 bottles of a delicious strawberry vinegar and 10 bottles of hot sauce (one a deeper umami flavor).
Time to start some new batches now! 💚🌱
