Someone’s grandfather was in a Nazi concentration camp during WWII on farm duty. They used barbed wire to poke holes in potatoes to make them spoil quickly. It was the only thing they could do to resist.

My Thanksgiving was quiet and a four-day start to the holiday season. Today is cold and windy so reading and maybe a movie (or two?) with hot chocolate and popcorn while I figure out my cookie list for the holidays. Sounds pretty perfect to me! Enjoy the season & eat leftovers!
