The G4 did not occur as predicted by the SWPC. Let's hope that the ionosphere recovers quickly and that we can continue to benefit from the relatively good ionization for some great DX. Happy hunting! #hamradio #spacewx

The Kp has reached a maximum value of 9- so far during this event. This is the same as the October 2024 storm in terms of Kp, but still shy of a G5 classification which needs a full Kp 9. Still very impressive, though!

The ground station will operate under the callsign 4K4AZE and can be heard on 145.800 MHz FM.
