Hi. I've never posted my art before, but since I'm here I thought might as well, and I need to build confidence in myself and my art. I'm mostly a rough sketcher who likes to doodle cartoons and trying different styles and ideas to see what works for me. Here's some stuff from a while ago.
There's, uh... quite a lot of blackface in this one, huh?
Anyways, time to watch Godzilla and Kong beat the shit outta each other (in the 60s.) I might make a follow-up post afterwards or just make a big thread after seeing more Godzilla film with my thoughts on what I've seen so far.

Sorry if I'm talking too much about movies instead of posting art btw. I wanna talk about movies more online but am a bit self-conscious on if people even care or not, or if people will get upset at the lack of art. I'm a big movie guy and that has greatly influenced me and my art.

King Kong vs Godzilla (1962) was next on the docket, but God I hate having to do homework to watch just one film. These cinematic universes, man smh

So this winter break I'm gonna try and watch all the Godzilla films. I recently bought all the Criterion releases (Godzilla 1954 4K, Showa-era collection, Godzilla vs Biolante) and want to work my way through them.

Been really looking forward to this because I wanna play as cool Meiko Kaji-like samurai lady but as someone who enjoyed Tsushima but found the story mid as fuck, I'm excited to hear that the story's actually good this time.
I have ZERO complaints about the story of Ghost of Yotei. Just a riveting, satisfying revenge story from beginning to end. Every story beat was riveting, exciting, never bored or irritated. Every character is smart, Atsu is a terrifying, unforgettable lead.

Been really looking forward to this because I wanna play as cool Meiko Kaji-like samurai lady but as someone who enjoyed Tsushima but found the story mid as fuck, I'm excited to hear that the story's actually good this time.
So I generally enjoy attending college this late in life, but one thing that absolutely sucks about going to college NOW is that I'm now being forced to learn AI.

Probably the most baffling one to me. I have no idea what the hell critics were smoking at the time, but they must've just saw "Asian revenge movie" and thought it was gonna be some Kill Bill shit or something.

This was a horror-comedy loosely inspired by my experience taking the public bus home. I wanted to play around with mixed media.
