Did Sean Parnell just said "diversity united us" to defer the question if the cancelled Marine Band & Equity Arc concert would be rescheduled?

Please take his microphone away before it's too late!

Basically Trump's plan is to overwhelmed the DOJ and its dependencies.

7/ Why this matters: A president dismantling institutions through executive orders exposes the fragility of the system. Even if the next administration reverses some of Trump’s actions, this precedent of ruling by executive fiat fuels instability and deepens polarization.
March 15, 2025 at 9:08 PM
6/ Legal challenges exist, but they move too slowly. While courts have blocked some executive orders, lawsuits take time. By the time a ruling arrives, the damage may already be done—or Trump may have moved on to something else.
March 15, 2025 at 9:08 PM
5/ Regulatory loopholes and past precedents give Trump even more power. Many agencies exist at the president’s discretion. Past administrations expanded executive authority, and Trump is now exploiting those precedents to push his agenda.
March 15, 2025 at 9:08 PM
4/ Congress is failing as a check on presidential power. Partisan gridlock has left it ineffective. Instead of challenging Trump's executive actions, many Republicans have either supported them or stayed silent.
March 15, 2025 at 9:08 PM
3/ Institutional checks have weakened under Trump. He has:

Installed loyalists to prevent resistance.

Used acting officials to bypass Senate oversight.

Stacked courts with judges more favorable to executive power.
March 15, 2025 at 9:08 PM
2/ Trump embraces a “unitary executive” mindset, claiming near-total control over the executive branch. This lets him justify dismantling agencies, reversing regulations, and reshaping government through executive authority alone.
March 15, 2025 at 9:08 PM
1/ Trump's use of executive orders (EOs) shows how much unchecked power a president can wield. These orders don’t need Congress and are used to bypass gridlock. While they must be based on existing law, they allow sweeping changes with little oversight.

Today, Trump closed 7 agencies, including the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service $50M and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, $230M.

Another blow to the working class, limiting access to vital support systems and knowledge.
