Pitch for TV executives:

"Who Wants to Eat a Billionaire?"
For the record, I'm team #FuckIce regardless of who is president. Ice is evil even when Democrats are in charge. We need reformed immigration laws to make the process smoother, not violent thugs attacking human beings. Immigrants have always made this country better. We belong to each other.

Thanks to the Weatherization program we have a new furnace as of today, after over 3 weeks of trying to keep our broken furnace running sporadically. Extremely grateful programs like this exist.

My kid asked me to cut his hair the other day, showed me the exact length he wanted. I chopped off at least 10 inches, maybe a foot.

He now hates his hair because it's thick and poofy and doesn't lay flat. It looks EXACTLY like my hair freshman year of college. I hated it too. Poofy hair is tough

There are 3 people in my household but 4 muffins in a pack and let me tell you it's quite a mess cutting a muffin into 1/3s. Absolutely none of us were willing to pass on the extra sliver though.

Me reading the news realizing that not having married my boyfriend of nearly 20 years because of my massive student loan debt has the upside of not needing additional identification to be able to vote.

What's the opposite of a super power? Cuz mine is being 47 but eating like a toddler. So many crumbs... so many spills. It's the opposite of impressive.

I the past week I had two people (my new doctor and a guy working for our local weatherization org) mention "god" to me and both times it was so unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. I've only ever had Christians assume that I share their beliefs. Neither of those jobs require religion.

No matter how many times I rewatch DS9 I never, ever get tired of it. I love most Trek, but DS9 is unquestionably my favorite. Such incredible storytelling.

man I’m sorry to be all corny here but when I see a “the city is beautiful! There’s more to it than homeless people!” I gotta say you know who’s also beautiful? People who have no place to live & are trying to get by in a system that has turned its back on them & if you don’t see that that’s on you

Funny thing, the one thing in common I've seen about people on Epstein's lists; they are all wealthy.

Starting Schitt's Creek after learning about Catherine O'Hara's passing started out sad, but it so quickly melted into the heartwarming feeling this show has always given me. It's nice to know that we always have this story when we need to feel good about the world. Such a gift.

My friend passed away today. He was in his mid-50s, had been a military medic, a technician in a hospital, then as life shifted he worked for Ticketmaster where he trained me ~24 years ago. He became my roommate a couple years later, and he became friends with my eventual SO first. After I moved in

I didn't expect the next Schitt's Creek rewatch to involve s bunch of crying but we're in it now.

Catherine O'Hara was movie mom for so much of my childhood. Thank you for your brilliance, ma'am. You will be missed.

My kids occasionally "pick" me or my husband. Other parent won't do.

I can't stop thinking about all the families right now where the "picked" parent is disappeared. When mommy or daddy are gone. The anguish, the grief...there are so many broken families right now.

Abolish ICE.

I'm going on at least 6 months of my car music being exclusively "Jenny From Thebes" by @themountaingoats.bsky.social Zero regrets, this album is so fucking good.

(I don't drive every day, but when I do it starts and ends with "Clean Slate.")

Pam Bondi telling Minneapolis that ICE will be recalled *only* when that blue city turns over its voter rolls is a clear reveal that this isn't about immigration. It's about interfering with upcoming elections that may not favor Donald Trump.

It's extortion.
