Black metal that is not too symphonic, sounds raw but not like it's recorded in a garage, with lots of variety and face melting soloing that at times reminds me of Cacophony. All the good reasons why I dig the upcoming Worm album Necropalace.

Definitely one of the best Progmetal albums of 2025 and certainly a contender for my AOTY top 10.
Complex yet playful and catchy. Don't let the cover and title fool you. This is seriously good.

For the nostalgic bunch out there longing for early 90's progmetal a la Lethal, Psychotic Waltz & Transcendence. If you're not familiar with the latter: this is your chance because Transcendence has released a great new album. A classic, should it have been released back then.
