This is another cool franken-gun built by the gunsmiths of Khyber.
A Type 3 milled AK receiver, AKMS undefolding buttstock, AK100 combo gas-sight block, and aluminium railed handguards, finished with a Khyber made fakelite/bakelite-esque 40 round 7.62×39mm AK magazine.

Old vs. New. The #Soviet - #Afghan theatre brought up a lot of cool #firearms. The #Stechkin APS was one of them. This specific genuine example turned up in the hands of the #PAFF Resistance organisation in Kashmir.

i feel like Darra Adam Khel is a pretty good example of something which might exist in the Imperial economy: no industrialization, but a market with hundreds of individual craftspeople operating machine tools, producing artifacts with no standardization.

What we have is a Type 2 AK (AK47) clone but has unique laminated wooden M70-esque handguards, inc. a modded sight-block, leaf, and double hump trunnion bulge.

What a travesty. Such disrespect to Mikhail Kalashnikov and the masterpiece he created.
