Now I live in a school that’s a shelter. Women and children sleep in the classrooms that work as dormitories, but men sleep in tents in the school yard. My tent was already severely damaged yesterday because of the wind and the rain.

Look. Look what happened to the tent. They have nowhere to go now. Four children.
We can accommodate them in the school for a few days. His wife and children can sleep in the for a few days. But men must sleep in the rain.

It's as if life is against us. Everything is flooded now. The few tents and warm clothes we had for winter are all gone. I'm fed up with all this. I'm at my wit's end. I think my mind is failing me. I'm so overwhelmed by it all, I want to cry. This is unbearable.

Gaza saw its first major rainfall of the season today. Within minutes, people were submerged and tents holding families and children flooded. This is slow death. There is no justification for why proper shelter that can withstand the elements is not being allowed in.
