I can't believe I have spent my entire life being told to shut up about feminism and now it's 2025 and women are not allowed to have acetaminophen.

A large number of dating app profiles I come across have, as their description, "do it for the plot," or, "I love this game."

Also from the dating apps: why is it always "for the plot," or, "I love this game." At least it filters out people who refuse to be genuine, but it's a little bit grating. I'm sure men do it, too.

He draws facial structures so well. The arrangement of features, their depth and dimensionality...The vibes of his characters as a whole are incredible, and his paintings are strong and moody. Story-wise, he writes impressive, compelling character development and interactions.

Fighting wars, physical or mental, over something that isn't all that goodβ€”that has its uses but does not deliver on its grandest promises and kneecaps entire generationsβ€”makes me think our shitty AI is exactly what society was looking for to replace religion.

Hello. I wrote a nice long essay about AI and this very strange moment where we're constantly told we're living in the dawn of a strange new future but the only thing that's actually clear is that everyone feels pretty unmoored and uncertain. I hope you'll read it

Three years in, one of AI’s enduring impacts is to make people feel like they’re losing it.

97% of extremist-related murders in the U.S. in 2024 were linked to right-wing extremists. It’s not a political movement anymore - it’s a hobby for failed men with too much testosterone and not enough brain cells.
