To say JESUS WASN'T POLITICAL is to completely ignore Jesus' actual words and how they hit.
Nearly everything Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, the Plain, in Parables, and while teaching on the road was a direct assault on those in political, financial, & religious power.
