An inauspicious beginning.
Watched weapons and thought the humor and eerie vibe worked incredibly well together. Always felt creepy, yet the laughs came easily and regularly.
I thought Barbarian landed the framing device better and had a much more satisfying ending, but both are fantastic movies.

Second boss in Lies of P looked so cool and had an awesome intro, but I beat him in one try. Also got more health vials, so I don’t have to worry about regular enemies much anymore. The factory is up next and looks very menacing, so I’m hoping the fear gets ratcheted up.

In the second area of Lies of P now, and things are getting harder. I still feel OP against the regular enemies, but the traps and stronger enemies take my health vials so I’m very conscious of damage. Fun way to balance combat. Levels are pretty linear, but look cool.

First boss battle in Lies of P was great! Tried the quick dodge and attack play style from Bloodborne and got worked. Finally adjusted to a move, block, parry style and smoked it. Great job teaching me how to play the game and rewarding me for finally getting it.

Started Lies of P. Love the aesthetic and the game does a good job of tutorializing. My only issue, as of yet, is that it’s pretty easy. I use the halberd and can take on groups of 3 without a problem. Maybe it’s lulling me into a false sense of security…

Lies of P is free this month on PS+. I guess it’s time to dive on in.

I've been waiting on an evaluation from @theblcklst for over 5 weeks. In that time, I got a month of free hosting and a reply to my inquiry about the wait saying my script is "working its way through the system." Have others experienced a similar delay as of late?

I always break and outline, but it’s not until I get about 2/3 of the way through a script—writing lots of actual scenes—that I really start to get the feel for the story and see the connections. Anybody else?
