At the CMPA Prime Time conference, and hearing that news channels do very well on FAST platforms.

This is great to hear! But we need to make sure that we continue to support keeping Canadian journalists in professional news rooms to help feed these new platforms.

Very happy to see Canadians take up the cause of supporting our TV and Radio broadcasters. Each of these measures would help keep journalists in Canadian newsrooms.
With recent changes to Kingston’s local media landscape, I’m committed to advocating for measures that will support local media and coverage that keep us informed and connected. 💪
