For the dnd game I DM, I 3d printed a 4 digit cryptex for them to test their guesses to an in-game locked door. My son solved the physical combination and skipped the whole room.

Session one went very well. The weird thing about running a game in Thay is that there's no good guys. I also just discovered Flee Mortals! and wow is that an upgrade to dnd

The monster you can run from memory is better than the complex fight you have to spend a few minutes reading every round at the table. The momentum you lose isn't with it.

I think "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" exemplifies American culture more than any other art piece.
