This is so sad. Sandy was such a force- it was a privilege and pleasure being his student. May his memory be a blessing and continue being a force for the causes he cared so much about.
Truly one of the greats. He gave us the words and the permission to study inequality in a way that has shifted so many careers and in turn impacted so many lives.
