Losing long time friends, and I'm taking 10+ years, is such a stupid thing and such a shame in general.
I've come to really appreciate the value of connections lasting across time. It's not that making new friends isn't easy - it's that the longer we have them, the more valuable they are.

I'm slowly crawling out of the hole I dug for myself. Winter isn't helping, and, as usually, I've bitten more than I can chew - I started postgrad studies and picked up French again, took a serious approach to working out, and I'm working on my own portfolio website - but I'm no longer overwhelmed.

I got to see Radiohead in Berlin this Thursday and holy hell I've never seen this much energy in the audience. Everyone knew the lyrics to every song. I can't remember the last time I jumped around this much at a concert.
