Calgarians shouldn’t be priced out of their own city.

That’s why I’ll:

✅ Expand the Free Fare Zone
✅ Create an Inner-City Bus Loop for affordable mobility
✅ Jumpstart Co-op Housing so more people can afford a home

Let’s build a city that works and is affordable!
Last night, I was a losing candidate in the Ward 8 Calgary municipal election.

To Nathaniel Schmidt a heartfelt congratulations. It will be a true honour to have you as my municipal councillor.

Thank you again, Calgary. It’s been an honour to put my name forward.

As this campaign ends, I keep thinking how my wife has been through more than most ever have to endure.

Through every storm, she’s been my light, a reminder that to love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.

It's always nice when reception sends you a message to add your schedule for a month that's a ways away because a client is trying to book ahead. Good way to start a Monday! Oh, and of course any day where people can vote for @kenthehryyc.bsky.social has good to celebrate! #YycVotes

This is our final campaign video. Throughout this race, I’ve tried to show what many of you already know: I’ll always be accessible and I’ll work tirelessly to make life better in our community.

Thank you for the honour of your time and every conversation at the doorstep.

Yesterday, we asked supporters where surplus campaign funds should go and you chose the Emergency Women’s Shelter.

Earlier in the campaign Kathy, who rebuilt her life with FLEE funding, endorsed our work. Proud that ~$1,000 will help more families like hers. ❤️

Leading searches:

An opponent said this data is just people trying to find reasons not to like me. Maybe, but as the saying goes, “The only thing worse than being talked about… is not being talked about.” 😉

If you’re searching, I think you'll find ideas worth supporting!

Community safety isn’t just another issue, it’s the issue I hear about at almost every door.

My plan:

👮 More visible police & peace officers
🧠 A task force bringing experts together
🏠 A housing-first strategy

Out on the campaign trail with my #1 volunteer: my mom. ❤️

She’s been by my side since my very first campaign, stuffing envelopes, knocking on doors, and cheering me on every step of the way.

I couldn’t do this without her support and love. Grateful every single day.

I’ve been hearing at the doors that I won the Ward 8 debate

If you want to judge for yourself, search Calgary Ward 8 Candidate Forum Cliff Bungalow-Mission or watch this clip with a dunk so hard it's been compared to Michael Jordan in his prime

Communities First? More like Corporations First
Asked what’s a nice-to-have vs a need in our city, Cornelia of the Communities First party went to bat for… the 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚 deal Communities First? More like Corporations First Let’s state the moral choice plainly: an arena is a nice-to-have. A home is a need-to-have #yyccc #shorts

Communities first isn't even pretending to be independent of Danielle Smith when they post her directly on their Facebook page!

Vote for me to have your voice heard at City Hall.

Ran into my old hockey buddy Diamond James Finney yesterday. We were AJHL champs together back in the day.

Those locker rooms and early morning practices built bonds I’ll always be grateful for.

Proud of the real results we've delivered for our community over the years:

✅ $1.5B for the Green Line — even if Council has struggled...
✅ $333M for the Ring Road
✅ $168M for the Springbank Reservoir
✅ $138M for the new Central Public Library

Kent was pleased to visit the Calgary Downtown Musalla, where Imam Qassem called on attendees to support Kent at the ballot box.

It was an honour to connect with over 300 people from the community.

Grateful for a great evening of door knocking with Chris, Garth, Robert, Martha, Judy, and Chloe.

As the sunlight fades earlier each day and winter creeps in, their energy and commitment keep the campaign warm and bright.

Couldn’t ask for a better team.

Had a great chat at the Builders Lunch with Rob Calver and Ken Cog Hill from the Bricklayers Union yesterday. I grew up at a union table, as both my parents were teachers.

Unions are sounding the alarm on black market labour and contracts that reward cutting corners.
