There are bigger longstanding issues as to why United can’t beat Brentford away and they shouldn’t be relying on refereeing calls, but it doesn’t change the fact this should’ve been a red card and would’ve changed the outcome of the game had it been given. Appalling.

I’m really looking forward to when VAR screens require a subscription service, which the EPL won’t be able to afford in coming seasons due to bills racked up in the City lawsuit, so we’ll either have to wait 5 or 30 seconds for the ref to be able to skip the advert and review the incident.

BILD are so often wrong and are used frequently by board members for Bayern propaganda. So much so, it could be mistaken as standing for the acronym, “Bayern Ich Liebe Dich”.

I think there’s a simple fix to VAR incidents like Haaland’s disallowed goal.
1. For any review bar offside, referee always has option of viewing a video review. Red cards, goals & penalties.
2. Discussion is broadcast, with headsets sold at the ground if you want to listen in.

Hoping City Supporters Group organise a boycott of this. Clearly a tournament that is for the generation of money at the expense of fans / players. City should seriously consider sending their EDS, as what an experience it’d be for them! Let the 1XI players recover. Also happy to not watch it.

First derby in ages that City are underdogs. Reckon Goater, Berkovic and Ali Benarbia might actually creatively improve this team. Surely City will turn up one of these games? 😂
