Down to $100 bc I won a lil money from a scratch off ticket โค๏ธ sooooo close to being free of the debt I accrued from Surviving in 2021.

& lot of crowdfunding stuff way under budgets so I think a lot of the typical crowdfunding audience has smaller expectations. If Glitch put out a Kickstarter with the actual needed budget for a full season, thousands would absolutely say they're asking too much

I think over the past decade people have been so burned on crowdfunding, especially when it fails, that 'Hey you at least for CERTAIN get SOMETHING out of supporting us' feels like a fresher, more enticing, and probably currently more successful support strategy at this time.

The game I'm working on now has a lot of narrative similarities to Daniel Mullins' The Hex (and a bit of Inscryption, which is practically a sequel to The Hex anyways).
I didn't intend for the similarities but if people end up liking my game I can say 'thank you, okay now go play The Hex'.
