Dr Glenn Watts spoke to BBC News about current drought impacts.

He said: "The outlook for the rest of August is for mostly dry weather so flows will continue to become lower...expect to see more of those algal blooms, fish rescues, and the knock-on effects to wildlife and to farmers."
