Kenney's assets are such a boon to game dev! We've been using them for early development and as placeholders for our current projects as they enable code and design to get stuff implemented early and leave art free to explore in the meantime.

While my depression got me bad, my friends have been working hard to make our first game as a new company reality, all while giving me space and time to heal. I'm so grateful I want to cry. Today our steam page went live ;_; ♡ all very wip but I'm so proud!

Authors/publishers justifying their AI "artwork" use to be able to invest more money in the "actual content" (this is a direct quote), like anyone forced them to use it, is so rich. As if there aren't a million free alternatives out there.
