If you ever wonder if the fight is worth it, look at tonight.

A billionaire-backed candidate—with every advantage, every insider rooting for him—lost to a campaign built on nothing but people power.

The Democratic Party wanted to see him fail, but he won.

And we will, too.

In Trump’s second term, empowered anti-abortion politicians are pushing more explicit efforts to punish pregnant people for how their pregnancies end.

Lawmakers in Indiana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas all announced bills at the start of 2025 to classify abortion as homicide.
I didn’t know I was pregnant before my stillbirth. Prosecutors still charged me with a crime.

New studies have shown how terrible abortion bans can be for babies, prompting huge increases in infant deaths.

The likeliest reason is that more women were forced to carry what are sometimes called “medically futile” pregnancies to term.
Abortion bans are also terrible for babies
A huge increase in infant deaths under Texas’s SB8 is the best evidence yet of how cruel such laws are.

Today marks the third anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

What's happened since?

A record number of women have been prosecuted. Pregnancy loss is now considered extremely suspicious, even when it has nothing to do with abortion.

They were targeted for substance use, miscarriages, and stillbirths, largely driven by fetal personhood laws.

The killer is consistently described in the press as “a devout Christian who opposed abortion” as if that’s an essential trait of devout Christians.

Many, if not most, “devout” Christians support abortion access.

Given Trump’s airstrikes against Iran to support Israel, he must:
- Within 48 hours notify Congress of: 1) legal justification (e.g., self-defense, treaty obligations); 2) nature of the military mission; 3) By Day 60, Congress must authorize the war or begin withdrawal by Day 90.
Where is the approval of Congress for this action?

Following the President’s decision to bomb nuclear facilities in Iran, I’ve directed our public safety teams to be on heightened alert for potential threats to Minnesota. While there’s no known threats at this time, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly.

Make no mistake, this will be DEVASTATING.
The U.S. Senate is currently considering a budget reconciliation bill that quietly includes language that could devastate our public lands. It would:
- Make over 250 million acres of public land eligible for sale
- Mandate the sale of at least 2 million acres of Forest Service and BLM land

The result: a shocking series of Democrats and public officials who have been detained and even prosecuted.
