I find it quaint that banks still use the term “eStatement”. With the lowercase “e”. It reminds me of the good old days of the internet. When everybody was just trying to download as much free porn and music as possible, and not monetize their conspiracy theories.

If anyone is in DC today and hears a flyover of Arlington it’s for a good family friend who was shot down and held in captivity in Vietnam for 2,657 days. He lived a full life after never wanted to be defined by his captivity. A skier and sailor I spent many days on the mountains and water with him.

I love this kind of history. People, places, the way they lived, and the like is so much more interesting then anything taught in my education. Wars, generals, and how many died is a terrible way to think about it how we got here. Learning about people and their collective ingenuity is fascinating.

I bought the bottle randomly and then the book. The book is a history of London Dock Rum (Navy Rum) from 1776 till 1970. The book is partially written by the master distiller of the bottle. The bottle uses historic techniques to make a one time limited edition version of the described rum.

Played through my BFC guitar set. I’ve got about 75 minutes of music so if I average in nervous rushing thru songs and talking in between that should be perfect. Haven’t been practicing as much as I would have liked to build muscles and callouses but my stamina is perfectly good to go.

Hardest part about my job is that my internal clock is always fucked up. Even when I’m like “I’m gonna wake up early and get shit done” my body is like “noon is early right?” The amount of GSD things I cram into 4-6pm just before my dragon gets home is crazy.
