Fucking hilarious. @Glasgow_Times (Glasgow Motorist Times)putting out a sympathetic article on drivers parking where they shouldn't. It's promoting a cap on tickets and saying it's inconceivable that drivers are purposely parking where they shouldn't. Lol.

Drivers issued parking ticket warning as firms hand out more than 41,000 a day
Each ticket can be up to £100, meaning the total cost to drivers may be near £4.1 million per day

When I was working in Detroit I had a Ford Ranger very similar to the small one in that photo, and everyone else drove the big dumb ones like the other one in the photo. Mine carried just as much, and the people I worked for always preferred me using mine bc they reimbursed things like fuel.
Trucks have been getting bigger, more energy & space consuming, more polluting, and much deadlier to everyone around them including kids. Not because most of us actually need bigger vehicles, but as ego boosts, status symbols & “indicators of male virility.” Note the truck bed is basically the same.

Trying to murder people with a machete and then run them over with your car seems like a totally reasonable response to someone telling you that you're speeding...

Ban e-bikes.

Andrew McDonald, 45, swung a machete at Ewan McCord, 23, and Emily Grant, 23, and attempted to run them over after they warned him about speeding in Glasgow's east end.

I have NO IDEA how you can see these plans & act like they aren't a massive improvement on every single level.

Cities aren’t crowded. They’re just full of cars.

Now it's over £150,000,000 - for ONE junction. Just tear the damn thing down and stop burning the money.

Think of the school, bus, housing, active travel, police, etc. improvements we could have instead of emergency repairs on a city-destroying road.
