Added some improvements to StrobePages — a flipbook-style post-processing effect for Unity URP. I’ve also updated the sample scene with a more stylized look.

I added a Pass Event property to the Duotone effect for Unity URP.
You can now change the injection point of the effect — for example, placing it before other post-processing effects.

I tried building the Unity HAP codec plugin for mobile platforms (iOS/Android) as an experiment. Recent devices seem capable enough to run it, though I’m not sure about its practical use.

Released the Unity HAP plugin v1.0.0. It’s not a major update, but I realized I had never officially marked this package as v1, so it’s now promoted to v1. Tada! github.com/keijiro/Klak...

Working on an update for the HAP plugin and adding unit tests. One of the nicest things about AI-assisted coding is how much it lowers the friction of writing tests. I used to have a bad habit of skipping tests, but it feels like a good time to finally fix that.

My CATV provider just upgraded their terminal system and cable modem. It’s not the most common setup in Japan, but my studio still relies on it.
Seeing around a 20% performance boost after the upgrade. Nice little win.

M2 MacBook Air (2022) is still my favorite machine. It easily handles my daily tasks without any noise. Whether for better or worse, I can’t find any real reason to replace it with a newer one.

Released “Low-Level Digger”, a Unity 6.3 Low-Level 2D Physics sample mini-game project.
It runs on most Unity-supported platforms, including the Web. You can try it out on Unity Play.

Still working on my #unity1week project, featuring Unity 6.3’s new low-level 2D physics.
The finish line is finally in sight — even though the deadline was a week ago...

Tried using Oklab space instead of sRGB for color reduction in the KinoEight effect.

Added an “Extended” switch to the KinoEight effect.
Despite the name implying an 8-color palette, it now also supports a 16-color palette.

Added UVC-02 to my web chat / webcast setup.
It’s really handy for connecting a high-quality camera and mic.

Testing on a mobile web browser. It’s single-threaded on the web, but it still performs fairly well with this number of rigid bodies.
