'Let's build something real': great video. New ideas definitely needed. Key to understanding political failure frm neoliberal stranglehold imo is our atomisation into individual consumers. Even the Green party puts individual rights above the 'common good': the idea of care needs human connections.

China does the former. Western lib democracies largely the latter. But BOTH systems rely on one basic similarity -average maths scores. The normal. My point: any 'Politics of care' must be based on real measures. Science/research led policy that is discussed, with a clear aim.

Perhaps a good way to explore this 'flaw' is to think about Maths education. We now know maths ability is 70% genetic. Do we identify/recognise children good at maths & gear school resources to make them the best they can be. Or spread maths budget, making as many children as poss better at maths?

Great video & summary. Thank goodness for The Green Party. But really wish their economic policies didn't come with majorly anti-science, socially destructive liberal thinking over family values & traditions, which have been the only thing keeping social fabric going under neoliberalism hereforto.
