I’m sure there’s truth to this accelerant merging of tech corporate and state power. But seeing how quickly this sentiment was co-opted by a white liberal to fearmonger about China is why I don’t want to obfuscate the explicit white nationalism as a motivating force behind this effort.
Again: I don’t think the primary goal of the anti-D.E.I. authoritarianism we’re seeing is re-segregation. It’s TOTAL human enslavement to corporations. Re-segregation is just a stop on that train. Explicit white supremacy and patriarchy are being used to make techno-fascism seductive to the masses.

The severity of the Southern California wildfires is a trifecta of climate change, neoliberal governance, and historic overdevelopment causing an imbalance that erodes stewardship of the land and disaster preparedness. I hope this will be a learning experience moving forward. Prayers for LA🙏🏾

Climate reparations > climate finance

Grants > loans

Debt cancellation > debt swaps

This is how to radically address the colonial legacy of climate catastrophe and its disproportionate impacts on the global south.

China banned exports of gallium and germanium to the U.S. after U.S. issues a ban on exports of semiconductor chips and equipment to China. Trade war is heating up and Trump not even in office yet. This is what that 🇵🇸 man meant when he said of 🇺🇸 presidents: 1 dog goes and a son of a dog comes.
