Great article from the Minnesota Post. The argument is that bike lanes take arrows for necessary traffic calming projects because it's cheaper and faster to reduce lanes and lane width by striping a bike lane than moving a curb. www.minnpost.com/cityscape/20...

The biggest renovation of the White House -- the so-called Truman Reconstruction of 1949-1952 -- came about only because the building was in such a state of disrepair that inspectors decided it was unsafe for occupancy.

This little section of bike lane is among the worst in the city. It's right in the door zone and always has cars parked in it. This time there were 5 cars parked in the bike lane!

It's looking like at the end of the day, Jackson County's voters will have decided about 5-to-1 to remove Executive Frank White Jr. Next up: Jax Co Legislature Chair DaRon McGee will appoint an acting Executive to serve up to 30 days. It must be a Democrat residing in the county.
