For easy reference. On the left, "agitators" and "domestic terrorists". Or the right, presidentially pardonned "freedom fighters".

The Telegraph totally failing to recognise reality...

As usual.
Poor Melanie. She is SO close to getting it.

No, it's no coincidence. Because violence flows directly from ICE and Democrat-run cities are where ICE has been sent to cause it. It's like observing that surfing is not popular in landlocked states or that intellectual rigour is rare at the Telegraph.
We hear all the time about the damaging effect of social media. Less abt the radicalising & dehumanising effect of corporate right-wing media. An example: the increasingly deranged, dogmatic Melanie Phillips. How long can @thetimes.com continue to publish such rancid right-wing crap?

For decades, the American right has insisted that people need firearms for personal safety and to resist potential government tyranny.

And then LBC just had some US general on who suggested that if a demonstrator has a gun with them, they're essentially a legitimate target.

Which is it?

It will not surprise you to learn that Toby Youngs 'Free Speech Union' has obtained a High Court injunction banning the publication of a list of its donors open.substack.com/pub/democrac...
Who funds the Free Speech Union?
Toby Young’s outfit went to court to hide its donors. Today we reveal that funders include US anti-abortion groups, Brexit politicians and Tufton Street insiders.

I was telling one of my kids that it was physically impossible for an ad to play between songs on any of the records I own, and they asked "and you only have to pay for it once?" and you could see how strange that seemed. You cannot overstate how many basic rules of media consumption have changed.

Ain't that the truth.
People try to ascribe motives, strategy and logic to Trump but it's not acknowledged nearly enough that he's simply a spectacularly stupid man who happens to be extremely rich and entitled with it and therefore has gained a lot of power.

He's a very clear example of the Dunning Kruger effect.
Q: The premier of Greenland said today, 'We prefer to stay with Denmark.'

TRUMP: Who said that?

Q: The premier of Greenland

TRUMP: Well, that's their problem. I disagree with him. I don't know who he is. Don't know anything about him. But that's gonna be a big problem for him.

"[Farage's] presence felt like constant noise. The persona he had adopted was destructive and intolerant of anything non-British. He wasn’t very good at anything – no great orator, charismatic, or engaging. Being vitriolic was the only way he’d get noticed."

So, he was then *exactly* who he is now.
It’s not ‘fantasy’: I know Nigel Farage abused people for their nationality – because I was one of them | Rickard Berg
I remember him as a racist bully, and his allegation that other ex-Dulwich boys and I are liars tells me he hasn’t changed, says former Dulwich college pupil Rickard Berg

I was pretty certain Josh Finan would be good, so was looking forward to Waiting For The Out but, oh my!
With a wholly excellent cast, beautifully directed, and a faultless script ... the best TV of the year, already!
It's going to take something quite extraordinary to top it.

In 2025 I saw 113 shows the vast majority of which I enjoyed but there are always some that have that extra 'something' that makes them stand out.
This video, part 1, is a record of those I've marked as 'Great', the truly exceptional shows are in part 2.

The Alma Theatre opened in 1997 (apparently the oldest pub theatre in the South West!) I only starting visiting in 2014 and, after seeing 25 shows there, can confirm that it is indeed a fine pub and excellent little theatre.

Just as Trump apparently remembers nothing of his relationship with convicted child sex trafficker Epstein; Farage, seems to have forgotten his close friend and Russian collaborator Nathan Gill. Hmmm 🤔
"I have worked with Nathan Gill over a period of years and he's been terrific, he's never, ever, let me down. He's as honest as the day is long and, in the leaders' debates that have been taking place in Wales, he's performed very creditably."

- Nigel Farage, 2016
Really, Reform UK? THIS is what you're going with? That this man, who served as an MEP next to Nigel Farage for years and was made leader of your party in Wales by current deputy, Richard Tice, is just "one of tens of thousands of people Nigel meets on an annual basis"?~AA

In September, seven years after its opening, I recorded seeing 75 shows in the Weston Studio at the Bristol Old Vic. One of my favourite spaces for exciting and innovative theatre. I hope this little video gives some flavour of the quality and breadth of work offered.

Nigel Farage just admitted he hasn't a clue how to do anything in government, which is why he needs people like Nadine Dorries. So they will be guided by one of the stupidest morons ever to hold public office - quite the sales pitch.
