These stories about US Gestapo (aka "ICE") are incredibly depressing reading. Most of this isn't covered by international news, and if it were the US would look like what it is: a police state under a fascist government.

This explains perfectly the strange political landscape in Sweden where the Liberal Party traditionally has been lumped in with the conservative parties. They both want the same thing: individual freedom, which somewhere between liberal and conservative becomes justification of selfishness.
