Tomorrow is Int'l Holocaust Remembrance Day, the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. I'm forever grateful that the Holocaust education I received - from survivors who jumped off trains to Dachau & other miracles - instead taught me that the whole point was Never. Again. For Anyone.

Of course he does. Is this a joke? He defended the guy who killed Good. He’s told multiple people that he thinks protesters should be attacked. He told people at a rally to rough someone up. He’s said nothing as ICE has hurt people for months.

He doesn’t get to walk away from this now.
Leavitt: "Nobody in the White House, including President Trump, wants to see people getting hurt or killed in America's streets. This includes Renee Good, Alex Pretti, the brave men and women of law enforcement, and the many Americans who have been victimized by illegal alien criminals"

Stephen Miller called Alex Pretti “A would-be assassin" who "tried to murder federal law enforcement." When asked about the comment, Leavitt deflected, saying that she hadn’t heard Trump describe Pretti “in that way.”

She then ignored further questioning. trib.al/9o8KfYS

A recap:
- Alex Pretti, a nurse, is freely and legally watching and recording an ICE action in Minneapolis.
- He tries to help a woman ICE has thrown to the ground.
- Agents mace him and wrestle him to the pavement. He isn’t brandishing a weapon, per video of the event.

It’s not just that they are murdering people who are peacefully protesting, it’s that they then stand in front of the cameras and slander the victims by telling us that what we see on the videos didn’t happen.

Correct.

This is not about immigrants.

It’s about dominance and control.
Fear.
Maine's immigrant population is less than 5%.
Minnesota's immigrant population is less than 9%.
Oregon's immigrant population is 10%.
But all have mayors, governors, and attorney generals who have opposed Trump's actions.
This is about dominance.

The most disturbing government abuses of data aren't necessarily the data they're *deleting* but the data they're *collecting.*
The Trump administration is compiling lists of dissidents, immigrants, people with disabilities, Jews.

For good reason, most schools have detailed procedures about campus safety. In the current era, these seem to revolve around preventing mass shootings or randos from wandering the halls.

But the bigger threat is quite quickly going to emerge as the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases.

“Fourth graders spent the week building walls of snow at recess to protect their classmates from ICE” is a sentence that shouldn’t exist.
My daughter's school in Richfield, MN (adjacent to Minneapolis) is closing tomorrow due of out-of-control federal agents. Fourth graders spent the week building walls of snow at recess to protect their classmates from ICE. This isn't about immigration enforcement, it's about terror.
