The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe. Will we listen to his words today?

I bought some eastern prickly pear to add to my native food forest. This is 18 days of growth. I had no idea prickly pear grows this quickly. I'll be getting them planted outside soon.

Fresh out of the kiln. I'm so happy with how this set of bowls turned out. It's been so nice to just make things for myself lately.

I have about an acre full of wild violet right now. Finally got out and harvested enough for a purple violet syrup, a purple violet tincture, and a white violet salve.

Fresh out of the kiln. I made a bunch of new pots for all of my mini orchids. Hope my babies love their new homes.

I made some new knobs for one of my cabinets. I have never made anything like this. I was nervous the bolts wouldn't fit. They turned out perfect. The fact that the glaze matches the paint is a coincidence, I just loved this glaze and thought it would look great with copper bolts. #ceramics #pottery

Death day for the bradford pear tree on our new property. Won't be missed. It will feed our future gardens.

Getting rid of the American workers who take care of American veterans is wrong.

Veterans will not take this sitting down - we can make this the newest example of Trump being forced to back down from a bad move.
Trump administration plans to cut 80,000 employees from Veterans Affairs, according to internal memo
The Department of Veterans Affairs is planning an “aggressive” reorganization that includes cutting 80,000 jobs from the sprawling agency.

Trump's repeated attacks on "DEI," "wokeness," and the trans community have one clear purpose:

If we are angry at each other, we won't look up to see how big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains.

87% of jobs at Amazon pay less than $20 an hour while half of its warehouse workers struggle to cover food and housing costs.

Meanwhile, Jeff Bezos saw his net worth increase by $7.9 million an hour in 2023.

Is this the "free market" Bezos is so desperate to defend?

1 day is not enough. Boycotting companies for a week is not enough. Its weird to recognize these companies are problematic but only boycott temporarily. Will you feel better shopping with these companies because you did your part? Boycott until they change. Shop small, shop local, shop w/ integrity

Another reason why I wouldnt spend time or money in the state of Utah. Its a state run by a misogynistic, homopbobic church that protects child predators & pushes their religious views onto the rest of their population.

Last week, we reached 100,000 patients as part of our medical debt relief program.

I’m excited to announce that already we’ve alleviated this burden for more Illinoisans.

As of today, an additional 170,000 Illinoisans will have their debt erased — relieving $345 million.
