Happy #WorldMigratoryBirdDay to all who celebrate! I’m digging my most abundant buds of the day — the American Robin. I love seeing great big flocks cleaning out the mountain ash.

I could not be happier to welcome back all the glorious blackbirds!

Grackles have a pretty bad rep — they’re big, they’re noisy, they chase off smaller species, but dang they are fun to watch.

There has been high drama at the feeders since their return! 🪶

Good day sunshine!

Morning bog walk to check up on the black-backed woodpecker. No luck there but the Hairys were drumming and a couple of Ravens were busy building a nest!

Celebrating 9 years with Sadie dog by taking a snowy walk to the bog. Perfect post storm conditions for trudging through the snow.
