My mom's memorial is on Saturday, so I can't attend the No Kings protest.
But if you're free and on the fence about going, I encourage you to go. Despite her debilitating autoimmune disorder (scleroderma), my mom believed in showing up. In speaking out. I hope America makes her proud this weekend.

Everything is pretty terrible right now, but I found a moment of pure joy today when riding around on my late mother's e-trike (4+ weeks after my shoulder replacement surgery). I'll take it!

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

I’ve been in real world Minnesota today hearing how Trump cuts to Medicaid will shut down rural hospitals.

So pardon me if I don’t have patience with JD Vance trying to change the subject.

The House budget essentially eliminates Medicaid and SNAP to fund billionaire tax cuts. They are prioritizing 800 billionaires over MILLIONS of ppl in need.
It passed; final vote below.

This is on a budget which may or may not advance in the Senate, but the bill that will fill out the details called for in that budget cannot lose any other Republican votes if the same composition of members are present.

This is what authoritarians do. They silence.
There's going to be news about a woman illegally detained and being forcely removed from a Coeur d'Alene Idaho Town Hall meeting taking place at the high school by men that would not identify themselves wearing plain clothes because she opposed the republican viewpoints.

Senator Smith has no f*cks left to give
Elon, I hate to break it to you but you aren’t my boss. I answer to the people of Minnesota.

But since you bring it up, I spent last week fighting to stop tax breaks for billionaires like you, paid for by defunding health care for moms and babies
