I'm curious what everyone's opinion is on when it's okay to use Wizard of Oz-esque set-ups e.g. for a systems HCI contribution to show "how we'd want things to work in the future." It's often more impressive to get things working using today's tech, but sometimes I feel that limits my imagination.

It’d be nice if a model (not necessarily a gpt) were totally individual: only trained on me. It could reflect on my previous creative choices and suggest commands based on those choices I made, but in future contexts. I’d feel the suggestions were mine, as if I were in conversation with a “past me.”
